The Dark Lynx

Lynxkit is a Maine Coon cat; relatives living short lives as a kittypet. She lives in the dark forest where her clan, Emberclan, lives peacefully- or at least they thought they lived alone- until other clans join the wild biomes where they live when she is four moons, with her brother. She makes friends with a trespassing curious apprentice, debating on telling her clan or not. After the mysterious and distressing death of her brother, she is on edge constantly.

The first few chapters are from a different cat's point of view; and yes, for backstory purposes and tension.
