Emily, a scientist, uses scientific theory to conduct an experiment, using the hypothesis "Readers Could Be Educated and Enlightened While Being Entertained". This currently short story, explains the reasoning behind her first attempt at writing a novel, and what is learned from her first experiment. Often testing a theory results in imagining future experiments to improve one's knowledge in gaining new skills and insights in a field of study that is new and challenging.

Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture. But so many other famous scientists who made huge discoveries also did inhumane things for the sake of science. If it meant recognition for your brilliance and neediness outside of the show, Test Tube wouldn't mind stepping over a couple boundaries. But which lines would she be willing to cross? Adia, Scientist
Two days. That is all the time Eriganh could take to turn his world-destroying fleet toward Areon. Adia, a scientist for the Areon colony, is the only one close to discovering the experimental fuel needed for a mass evacuation, not only for her colony but most of the 7th Galaxy. But the 6th Galaxy has already lost worlds, and Eriganh has entered the 7th. D'gharr-with its superior shipyards-is currently evacuating with the few ships that have fuel. Eriganh wants its resources and its people enslaved. Areon is next on the list to be broken apart.
