"hold still" I said to my 5 year old Victoria as she kept fighting me while I tried putting on her shoes.My other daughter Lilly (who is 2) isn't as hard headed.She would fight me but not as much.I finally got her shoes on after 15 minutes I know that's a long time.Ok so let me start my story from the beginning.My name is Darcy Malik and I'm a single mother of 2 my boyfriend left me after I told him that I was pregnant with his second child.It's not the best thing in the world when you take care of 2 little girls on your own. "Alright all done,ready to go to grandma's house?"."YEAHH!!" they screamed joyfully. I buckled them into their car seats and drove off. *30 minutes later* "alright were here." As I started parking my mother came outside waiting for the children to come out the car.As I finished parking the children unbuckled themselves, got out the car, and raced to my mother.I walked out the car, closed the door, Locked the car, went to greet my mother.
"Hi mom" I said with glee."Ello love, how've ya been?" she asked with joy. "I've been feeling a little off to be honest."

"I'll make it a good one." we chatted for a few minutes then I went back to work and he continued shopping. My afternoon was normal for the most part. When it hit four I packed up my laptop and papers in my messenger bag and grabbed my empty travel cup. Going to dads office I check in before I leave. As I head to the front door everyone I pass congratulates me on being pregnant again. I just accept it and hope they aren't going to plan anything big to celebrate.Complete

I don't endulge in romance like this it's just fun to write. This is also a slow burn. If you're impatient and want character development fast this book isn't for you. I want to keep this story as realistic as possible and people changing their ways overnight isn't. I also just love books where not everything is sped through and you really get to know the characters and their habits.
