After months of adapting to his new disability, he accepts a new pirate name and turns to Eyeless Jack, but during a heavy storm while out at sea Jack gets separated from everyone else and becomes lost on his own ship, when a large wave crashes against it and his lifeline snaps he accepts his fate and let the ocean take him.
