Life hasn't always been sunshine and roses for Jemma, but she has managed to get through every obstacle that life tried to throw at her. She pretty much lived in isolation, only leaving to attend classes and get groceries, and only has two people in her life that she truly trusts, her older brother, Wes, and her best friend. her whole life was thrown upside down when she got invited to go see her beloved brother perform with his band and she gets the birthday gift of a lifetime.
During a surprise trip, she will be forced to face situations she thought she'd never be in again. Will this cause her to sink into darkness, or will she learn to see the silver lining?
