The year is 2019 and many devastating wild fires rose throughout countries due to a major drop in climate. Alex is intrigued to find out who or what was the thing that killed his parents during the evacuation in Reno. When moved to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, he catches a first glimpse of Florence Devereaux and her complete and utter stillness. What Alex didn't know was that Florence could help him find what he was looking for. Will Alex survive the stillness inside or will he do more and overcome it? This dramatic story full of contrasting surprises and emotions is told by two points of view and is sure to grab your attention and engross you into what will come next.
