In the comics the Venom symbiote wasn't always evil. It was in fact driven insane by the it's first host, the merc with a mouth, the one and only Deadpool. This is my take on what would happen if Spider-Man befriended the symbiote instead of rejecting it. The Avengers too, cause why not?

But no...a murderer and monster. Symbiotes and Spiders (Male Reader X Marvel Universe)
We all know the story. Kid gets bit by a radioactive spider and becomes a hero! He fights a vast assortment of animal-themed villains and gets married! Then his wife/girlfriend/significant other dies! A life marked by victories and losses, this is the fate of every spider-person out there. But we don't care about them right now. We're focusing on someone else, someone almost always left in the background of whichever Peter's achievements. Whether it be Eddie Brock or Y/N L/ N, theres always someone left just out of focus, until an alien gets their tentacles on them. One day, a fallen meteor crash landed on US soil. But with the meteor came an unwanted guest. A parasitic like creature slithered away from the crash to find a suitable host. And in it the alien found a host in a teenage boy with mental problems and family issues. How will the boy cope with hosting an alien parasite within his body while also dealing with the problems of keeping it under control while also managing his normal life? How will he deal with the fact his world is now under the threat of constant alien attacks, and even a greater threat that lurks just within the hero agency that was sworn to protect their world.
