"i feel disconnected, like i'm not even really there" ... Daniel has been living with depression for so long, that the world is beginning to look grey. Or at least, that's how it feels to him. He doesn't want to talk to anyone about it, least he upsets them, but he knows he has to do something, or things might take a drastic turn. He begins to vent, in a little red book, by writing down his thoughts and feelings. Daniel can't say why, but he knows that it helps him to make sense of everything. 'disconnected' follows Daniel's journey, as he works his way through school, family, friends, and his future, all while living with depression. ... While 'disconnected' isn't a story about recovery, it is a story of hope. This story is intended to show the importance of the little things in life, and how much they can truly matter. Even something as little as writing in a journal....

A year full of ups and downs, written down to make someone, somewhere feel something. This is my personal journal published for the world to see. All my thoughts and feelings for a year. It has no plot. It has no ending. It just ends. Good luck trying to understand it because I don't even understand it myself. Enjoy the mind of a fifteen year old girl, unedited.
