As a brand new paladin of Voltron and brave defender of the universe, Keith's life had changed drastically. Stumbling across the blue lion was enough to turn his entire life upside down, especially since it removed all familiarity and routine from his life. All he wants to do is find a secure routine and stick to it to avoid all chances of having a meltdown. Surrounded by new people and keeping a large fraction of himself secret from his new team, Keith needs to figure out how to get by.

That's proven difficult when he encounters his first obstacle: space goo. The texture was all gooey and sticky; it stuck to Keith's teeth in a way that had him picking it out for hours. He hated it. Living in space sure wasn't going to be easy.

Earth is saved from the Galra, and the Paladins of Voltron are the heroes of the Galaxy Garrison, well all except for Keith. He'd been kicked out before the war, and they didn't want him back. He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story.
