A run-in with an egotistical, influential member of the town disrupts her brand new calm and quiet existence. Ravyn has no interest in being the center of his attention, nor anyone else's...at least, until she meets Mason. His cool and calm demeanor is a welcome reprive from the sudden unwanted spotlight she finds herself in. But she can't help wonder, why is he so willing to help her, a stranger?

With new dangers and old grudges emerging to destroy the life she is trying to rebuild and the love she has always dreamed of, Ravyn must let go of the past long enough to allow the future she knows she deserves or risk losing everything. Again.

For a beat, she heard only the muffled sounds of the bar.

"Where're all your friends?" he asked, disdain clear in his voice.

Taking another deep breath Ravyn shifted her weight, preparing to bring her knee up and into contact with anything and everything in front of her. "Well, Alex..."

"Babygirl, I leave you alone for five minutes..." came a teasing voice from behind Alex. "Andy was right. You really are trouble."
