Fallax is a normal, everyday she-wolf. If you count a werewolf that was kidnapped at birth and put through an ancient ritual to strip her free will and ability to take human form to an ancient power hungry vampire a normal, everyday she-wolf. In fact, it only happened so this ancient vamp could prove his strength. He still uses her for missions though. Why waste a perfectly good, obedient pet? 
When one mission goes wrong, though, Fallax's world quickly turns upside down. 
PS: Chapter 1 is more of a prologue than a chapter.
