Four teens' minds become astral projections of themselves at night while they sleep. They question why they can do this, being able to travel incredible distances in the blink of an eye and wander at the speed of humans. They soon find that they are part of the Mayotta, and that there are hundreds of others that are like them.

The commonality between them all? They're all lost souls, unhappy with their lives.

They all realize that they feel much more alive and happier in the world their astrals provide them with. But soon their freedom is threatened to be stripped away from them when everything begins to crumble, and the Maigo changes in ways they didn't think he ever would.
