Virgil used to be a Dark Side but thanks to Patton, Logan, and Roman, the world doesn't seem as dark, until the last person that Virgil wanted to see comes back into his life. What used to be a perfect world with Logan, Patton, and Roman has now turned into a living hell. Virgil now has to fight his dark past of when he was a Dark Side and find a way to find the light once more. (Warning: Depression, Suicide, Angst, Violence, Cursing, and Remus)

Anxiety, also known as Virgil, was once part of the dark sides. But as Thomas started to accept him, he drifted away from his old friends and joined the main sides. But his past comes back to haunt him, and he is forced to suffer to protect the ones he cares about. Now, his new friends--which includes his crush, a certain side named Roman--must save him from those who have come to seek revenge.

Anxiety has always been a cast out. Everyside is born with a power. Roman has the ability to create small holographic creatures. Logan has Telepathy and can Read Minds. Patton has the power to bring plants and animals to life, to grow stuff. All of their powers made sense to their trait. Roman can create ideas so it makes sense for him to create holograms. Logan is very centered and smart so something to do with the mind makes sense. And Patton being the fatherly trait it's perfectly understandable for him to grow and raise life. But Virgil, his power doesn't make sense. Why would a paranoid, nervous, fearful, anxious trait have wings?

Thomas wakes up one day to find that the characters he created in his head - Roman, Logan, Virgil and Patton - were real. And not only that, they're in his house. The one problem: his two other more evil characters, Remus and Deceit, are out and causing trouble. While this might mean easier video editing for Joan, for Thomas' fanbase this new style of Sanders Sides has pushed them over the edge. Roman doesn't want to be like Remus,he wants to be a hero. Remus doesn't want to be apart from Roman,he wants to bind together again. Patton doesn't want everyone to get hurt,he wants everyone to be happy. Logan knows it's ok to not be ok but his mind keeps telling him different,why can't he fight it? Virgil wants to save Thomas and all of the sides,but he's only one person. Deceit wants to be accepted and to forgive Virgil,but how could you forgive someone who abandoned you?
