Ever since Tord and Edd had their baby daughter, and Tord killed his father, they returned to the base. Tord trained Edd and his daughter to be the best soldiers they could possibly be. Edd is second-in-command, a rank just below Tord's leadership. Their daughter, whom they have named Ellody, is still pending. But, Tord has ordered his soldiers to respect his 'wife' and daughter. Well, soon to be wife/husband once they have their wedding day.

But, when something terrible happens Edd, while pregnant with their son, what does Tord do? Well, obviously, he has to go and find the captors and rip their throats out. But, at age 10, Ellody wants to go along. At first, Tord objects.
