For years vampires have been in hiding because humans have killed them in the past for being to dangerous. Recently there have been disappearances and killings and Rose suspects vampires but no one believes her. It isn't until she comes across some vampires that her suspicions are confirmed. Vampires are tired of hiding and want humans to pay, with their lives. When she thinks its the end a dark figure named Asher comes to her rescue, after the confrontation she realizes he is a vampire too. Rose and Asher part ways but no matter how hard she tries she can't stop thinking about Asher. Will this fascination between Rose and Asher help vampires and humans fix many years of hatred or will it put Rose in even more danger?
