Garnet and Pearl always knew how to aggravate Steven. Their pestering, their persistence, and most of all their desire to have a worthy leader of the Crystal Gems. Steven did his best to ignore it, but one day, it's all too much. What happened that night was something nobody predicted, but what the aftermath had in store was much, much worse. Now Amethyst, Peridot, and Lapis must track down the one they care for most and keep him from causing harm to anyone else. But what they don't expect is that not only will Connie stand in their way, but someone much more deranged and dark than even Steven.
