Last year Ashley Freeman, and the rest of the party, defeated the mind flayer with the help of their new friend Max. Or so they thought. Because now he's back, and he's more dangerous, and alot bigger, than ever.

But Ashley has other things to get over first. Like her dying thirst for attention from her red headed friend Max Mayfield.

It all started the year before, at the school dance, when she watched Lucas and Max from afar, wishing deeply it was actually her that Max had kissed so softly. But now is her chance. And with the help of a homemade mixtape she sure as hell hopes to take it.
