When Ashely O'Donald was born, her parents realized she was a rare breed, a she-wolf, but they treated her with love and respect. Ashley or Ash for short was going to alpha once her father retires from The Dark Forest pack. Growing up her pack and family loved her even though she was different from the rest. Until one day she went to school with her soon-to-be beta and delta, Duke and Axal, and she saw a crowd around two girls. One was Amanda, the pack slut from Golden Star pack and another girl she has never seen before but her wolf Jacob, said "MATE".
Alex Richerson was a small, weak omega. When she was about 5 years old, her dad, Luke, died and her mother blamed her. All she remembers is waking up around midnight, smelling smoke, climbing out her bedroom window, and running toward the front of the house to see her mother standing there. Then when she asked bout her dad, her mother screamed at her until the alpha showed up and blamed her as well. So now at the age of 17, she has been beaten by the whole pack, other than the omegas and her best friend Lola whose mother hates her and gave her to the alpha.

She gets beaten daily, and is a stress reliever to most of the pack members. She finds her mate when she's walking home, but due to her wolf being dormant, she's unable to recognize him. Her mates name is Alexander Lopez. He's the next in line alpha of the Rising Blood Moon pack, and has been searching for his mate since he turned fourteen. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
