My name is Dawn Brooks, I am 18 turning 19, I was kicked out of my home by of course my parents. I am now living in a crappy flat in London, ever since I was a little girl I've always dreamed of coming here, anyways I'm 5'7 and I have odd brown yellowish eyes and my hair goes to my hips which is a dirty blonde and wavy like the waves of the ocean. But the man I meet along the way he has some of his own flaws will I look past them or forever shut him out. Anyways, I met a boy...who drives me Insane.

I'm just lying here in stillness and darkness wondering why. Why did this have to happen to my mom? We have nothing we can't even afford a house. I'm okay with school but I don't want to leave my mom alone in this world. Well, I guess there's a better chance of me getting a job if I'm in high school. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!Complete

How We Met
As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright." I wasn't quite sure what he meant but I nod my head. He lets go of me and looks at me before he turns away he says "I will be in my room if you need anything, okay princess?" In a quiet tone I respond with an okay. I recall my mom saying before she left to me " I love you Samantha." It just replays and replays in my head "I love you Samantha."
