It's the way the sunlight cascades down from the cracks of his blinds and onto his bedroom wall as soon as his eyes open.
It's the pleasingly scalding-then-numbing stream of water on his skin as he showers.
But most of all, it's the smile the barista greets him that makes Kyle think,
"Fuck, I'm so happy to alive right now."
Except his barista crush may or may have not heard it.
