June is an 11 year old witch about to head off on her first year at Hogwarts School. As June struggles with various mental health issues, she meets Remus (a kind, loving, werewolf), Sirius (a cocky, abused boy) and James (a well off, funny prankster). The First Wizarding War is ahead of them, how will June survive a war, a crush and a mental health disorder?

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her.
