Dipper gets a present after he returns from Gravity Falls, him and Mabel both actually. Their parwnts told them these gifts will be important in the future.
Nearly 7 years later the twins arrive from their usual visit to Gravity Falls every summer. Their 20th birthday is arriving soon, and to add in top of that their gifts they got on their 13th birthday have shown what they are needed for.
