Saving Carter is the actual name of the book.
The book follows now 26 year old Carter Stone, who used to be close to Iron Man himself Tony Stark. Stone had been someone Stark considered important until her disappearance after the tragic incident that had occurred to her parents. When Stone fell off the grid, Stark had assumed the worse. That was until the two had met again over ten years later due to unusual circumstances. Will the two ever be the same again? Or is all hope lost.

Tony was shocked to find out he was now legal guardian of a child, but after some convincing from Pepper, his trusty assistant, he took her in as his own. Stephanie never really spoke, she was closed off and didn't like physical contact and Tony was okay with that. Less work for him.
