Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. A fire that burned into my core.

Elira is on the run from a dark force that's been pursuing him from ages. When he is nearly captured by these people, horrifying truths are revealed and his entire world shifts. Will he be able to confront his fears and stop this unknown entity or die trying? - This is a story that's full of angst and takes some dark turns (at least I hope so), Elira goes by El, Ells, and Elli, as well as some fake names. He is at least somewhat aware of us, the reader, and acknowledges us often, that's why he takes explains things with oddly, making a comment or two about how he should've known you wouldn't know that thing. Idk I thought it'd be interesting. And by interesting I mean a chance to absolutely horrify you and gouge your heart out :DDD! But yeah I hope y'all enjoy, best of luck.

And considered the following: Would a machine entity recognize the distinction between itself and biological life - if it could replicate thought and action? And if it could recreate the exact function of a living being what difference does it make whether as flesh or machine? Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. All until the day the little girl walked out in front of the truck.

I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. Only problem, someone wants me to stay damned, to never become the angel I was meant to be. They'll stop at nothing to kill me, plus I have no clue what exactly I'm fighting against and on top of it all I am nothing without my locket. My locket is my true source of power, it's what kept me alive that terrible night.

I've always found them weird. You know, that they're just in our bodies. That they just exist. It's weird isn't it? I mean I know everybody's born with them, but I wasn't...I wasn't born with a stone or a crystal.. Everybody else has them, placed somewhere upon there skin, whether it be on the for head, belly ,or even back but not me...I wonder why I have to be so different from...
