Harper is a 12 year old girl taking life day by day. Her community envelops her, and everyone else, with positive ideals. Within this society, everyone is equal. There is no bigotry, racism, hate, or even crime. Everything is perfectly fair and that's just how things were for generations. However, citizens are a true product of their time and have become rather submissive in nature. The whole community itself was founded on trust, assimilation and fairness. That being said, no one really asks questions anymore. People just go with the flow because everything always seems to work out in the end. Follow Harper and her endeavors to see what happens when her world as she knows it... changes. It'll be up to you, dear readers, to decide for yourselves... Do you wish to read this story? Or would you rather save yourself from what will lie within...? The choice is yours. Note: Chapters for this story will be quite long in length, so expect slower updates... but when there is an update, expect to have quite a bit to read

Aurora's life had always been about survival, each day a quiet battle against fear and pain. When her stepfather was finally arrested, she thought the fight was over. But leaving one dangerous world meant stepping into another-one she didn't fully understand. Now, she's living with seven older brothers she barely knows, their lives a tangle of secrets and shadows they never speak of. Their house is loud, protective, and filled with rules she's afraid to break. For Aurora, it's a new kind of survival. For her brothers, it's a chance to keep her safe-no matter what it takes.
