'Alice from the book fell into wonderland and I fell into hell.'
Alice Black looks like any other 15 year old girl, but Alice doesn't think like other girls her age or anyone that she's knows her age. Alice's mind is taken up by sadness. Her world has be taken over by an over whelming sense of loneliness that she feels she has to hide.
'You can't tell anything by looking at peoples faces and I reckon, everyone has a dark side.'
She accepts her sadness and learns to live with it even if the people around her aren't ok with it. She is ok with not being ok. Slowing this sadness begins tearing her apart from everyone she knows and her self. The darkness inside of her is getting stronger. Alice can't seem to control what she does anymore.
'What's the point of living if even my brain ignores me?'
Alice started off as just a very sad little girl and soon became a suicidal teenager fighting her self to stay alive.

For the last month I've had nothing but dark thoughts. I finally decided to speak to someone about it. I went to Mr.Harn and told him everything. All he did was hold me and bring me to the schools councilor. He told her the story I was able to utter. She called my mother and arranged for me to be put into therapy. Caleb is definitely a troubled child. Alone, with nothing going for him, he attempts to take his own life but fails at his first attempt. He desperately wants to try again but is put under constant supervision, especially by his new doctor, Dr Palmer. Dr Palmer becomes more and more involved in Caleb’s life, trying to help him see that his life is worth living through various methods. Eventually, the two build up a trusting and understanding relationship and Dr Palmer allows Caleb to do things that his parents would have never have let him do so soon after something so tragic. Caleb gets his life back on track, enrolling at college and even meeting a girl whom he used to know as a child. The two of them begin to date each other, and everything seems great for a while. That is, until Caleb remembers the reason that he tried to commit suicide in the first place, revealing a secret that shatters his new found confidence. As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide.
