Janet Grant never knew who her parents were. She was raised by her aunt who had not much to offer ever since her mom died.
Surviving her messed up life, Janet was unlike any other girl her age, not even her cousin Steph. 

Staying with the family who never really cherish her existence was not easy for 18 year old Janet, until the one thing her aunt asked her in return of the free-of-charge living she had given tumbled Janet's whole world down.

18 year old Samantha Gray, new to New Jersey High is trying to fit in. She was diagnosed with cancer at age three and has survived through it strongly and amazingly. She buries her problem deep in her chest though, doesn't tell anybody about it or let the secret out, whenever her parents try to bring it up she shuts them down. One day Samantha falls sick and she's brought to the hospital, word is the cancer has spread and all those years that Samantha has built up strength and fought through the cancer tumbles down leaving her with only so many months to live. But in the darkness of her life there is a small spark of light... She finds love and it gives her strength to keep pushing to keep fighting, and to live her life till her last breath fully.
