Its year 1991 Poison by Bell Biv DeVoe is playing at every new jack swing club up east, the theatres are packing up because Boyz N The Hood is selling out tickets nation wide, The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air is becoming America's next great sitcom, there's people on the street selling Mc Hammer and Michael Jackson Dangerous tour tickets. What a time to be alive and twenty one years old for Jay Parker a young poet and aspiring rapper from the rough neighborhood of Brownsville Brooklyn but he spends most of his day going all over the city with his two friends who are like brothers to him Ricky and Lorenzo, There's alot of temptation to make fast money and to go down the wrong road in the city but Jay is more focused on getting his poetry heard through his music and maybe even considering college which his friends think he is crazy for even considering but their opinions wont hold Jay back from doing what he wants to do in life, he has a single mother he has to support and take care of and a eight year old special needs sister. Along the way, Jay will chase a good girl named Sundae from the other side of the river which will include romance and all the drama that comes with it. Jay is determined to get his family out of Brownsville Brooklyn and become someone but will the snakes in the grass get in the way? will the pressure be too much? would temptation of fast money be too strong? will someone save him from himself?All Rights Reserved
