Cana Joy Pratt grew up with her mom and dad in Atlanta Georgia. Her mom died in a car accident when she was 12, and her dad became a grieving drunk. Her sister Carly ran away from home (never calling home to let anyone know she's okay) after her dad came home drunk and hit her. Cana goes to school, then to work at the animal shelter, and finally arrives home where she does homework until she goes to bed. Almost every night she's woken up by her dad banging into the house. Cana is only 17. She didn't know what she was getting herself into. But soon enough she would find her world crumbling around her even more than it already had. WARNING!! This book will contain abuse references and scenes.
