Crystal Heart

In the depths of Japan's underworld, a baby is born with pure white hair and eyes of the clearest crystalline sea. Her mother, a princess turned slave, passes on soon after. Young and vulnerable, the newborn is left to die, or so the bystanders thought. Through some kind of miracle, the child is taken in by the island's protector, Ninetales, an elusive white fox that is worshipped by the people.

Surviving her seemingly bleak childhood, the girl is now of age, as spoken by the century-old prophecy.

And soon, she will find out her true destiny.
