This short story is about a girl Meera who was given a topic hoping against hope to talk about. Meera tried a lot but couldn't find what to talk about. She hated the concept of hoping against hope. She thinks it's futile to hope for something that is never happening. She was sure that those who hope in a hopeless situation are nothing but fool until her grandmother narrated a story to her about Radha, the indian goddess who hoped in a hopeless situation. A story of love mixed with mythology. A story that explores the journey of Radha Krishna and their love. A story written with love for love.

Love Where You Shouldn't Find It
A Trinidadian girl goes missing, but it's nothing new in town. As we go through the trials of survival with young Hope we'll find out the way she found love In a society where crime is a norm, we tend to forget how unfortunate and traumatic it actually is for the simple fact that "it wasn't me"; too easily do we slip over a murder, missing person etc. This short story was designed for reader to feel like they are in the unfortunate event to hopefully bring some more awareness to the unsettling amount of crime and violence in my little home Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and to an extension the world. For my first short story I used the name Hope, it is a play on words as that is literally what I am using the character for, to gain "hope" for better, for safety; I wish that readers enjoy the book in the way it was designed. ⚠️TW⚠️ •Rape •Kidnapping •Blood •Death •Depression •Domestic abuse ^^^ ⚠️TW⚠️^^^ will be placed at the beginning of any chapter where a trigger is observed. Please observe before reading.Concluida
Why Did You?
"Come back to me. I can't live without you," he said looking into her eyes. "At that time you didn't care, now I don't," she replied. Taking a deep sigh, he spoke, "I love you, Meera. Punish me all you want but don't leave me alone." "I don't love you. In fact the only feeling I have for you is hatred," said Meera. She walked away from him. Men shouldn't cry, they said. But in that moment, he could just cry. He felt helpless. The sky cried with him. As the raindrops fell on his body, he fell down on the ground and muttered, "Don't leave me alone, Meera. I have no one other than you." An old man came to him and kept his hand on his shoulder and asked, "She left you?" He nodded. The man asked again, "For someone else." He shook his head in no. "Then go and win her back," said the old man. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What happens when Meera, a 30 year old dance teacher, comes face to face with her past? What happens when her past is adamant to become her present and future? Read the story to find out....Concluida
