Raven (MHA Fanfic)

My name is Alyza Shimura, and I am the granddaughter of the one and only Nana Shimura, one of the greatest heroes to exist.

When I was still a baby, the villain All For One took the lives of my parents and extended family out of some spite for my grandmother. I was in the foster system for years until he found me at 9 years old and tried to kill me too. Had it not been for All Might, a One For All wielder, I wouldn't have gotten away with just a chronic spine injury and lung damage.

Out of pity or utter kindness, I don't know, but All Might decided to take me into his care after suffering his own severe injuries in the battle. Despite my protests, he insisted on giving me the name Alyza Yagi for my protection and has graciously taught me all I know when it comes to being a hero.

And now, five years later, my first year at U.A. in Class 1-A is about to begin.

...I just hope I can live up to the names of those before me.
