"We caused the end of the world. Turns out it's easier than you might think it is. All you need is a group of eco anarchists and an ounce of magic, and the world goes down in a poof." After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.

Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. I looked at his reflection from the mirror and wiped off my tears hurriedly before shoving the card inside one of the drawers, not wanting him to know about it. He came and hugged me from behind resting his chin on my shoulder. Reality dawned upon me and fear crawled up on each and every ounce of my skin. Sweat buds formed on my forehead and neck as I looked at him staring at me intensely from the mirror. His gaze was filled with desire. He turned me towards him by holding my waist gently and sealed our lips in a soft and gentle kiss. I closed my eyes trying to hold back my tears which were ready to spill out anytime feeling disgusted with his touch. At that moment of helplessness, all I was praying to God was 'please god let it be a dream where I'll wake up beside the love of my life, my Rann' but the saddest reality is it's not. "My Rann is a ruthless killer. He is a Devil with whom I got married."
