Angels and demons live on separate land: Heaven and hell obviously. It's almost like the human world, theres work, houses, buildings, school for younger kids etc... The only thing dividing heaven and hell is the very long bridge/border that connects the two lands. It would take a human many hours to cross it but since wings exist there it's faster once you know how to fly.
