"My family is full of gypsies. Don't you talk to me about not understanding about society."

"You're a gypsy? That explains so much."

Mabel Shelby got the job of a lifetime and she took it without a moment's hesitation. Girls from Birmingham don't get many opportunities to work in big houses nor work for Earls and Ladies, so when Mabel got the opportunity, she took it. The only problem was that she took it without the knowledge of any of her older brothers.

Having discovered that their little sister had disappeared during the night, the Shelby brothers are determined to find her and bring her back home, kicking and screaming. No Peaky Blinder girl should work for any Lord or Lady.

Tommy loved her like she was his own daughter. They had a bond not even the strongest of men could destroy. They were cut from the same cloth. 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐑, - Francesca finds that her closest and only friend, George, a boy who came from the richer side of Birmingham, had returned from the countryside. He was the type of boy all the girls would fawn over. Golden hair and blue eyes. Except, he didn't care for any of them. He cared for his best friend: Francesca Shelby. Or - Frances, as he called her. He was her only friend. Being older and, well, liked by most, he found it was his duty to look after her during such a hostile time. But they seemed to be blind to the fact that they were more than friends. In some way, they were more. They didn't know it but everybody else did.
