"Try to be open minded, alright?" Jordan stated seriously.

"Just tell me!" I was getting annoyed.

"Eager are we?" Ender said a smirk. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"You're not a mortal." Makaila said.

What?

"You're not a normal human, Tamara." Nessa said.

What are they talking about?

"You're a Deviant." Derek stated. "You're like us. We all have our own specific powers, and yours could be the strongest. You're 18th birthday is close, so you're getting your powers."

Tamara LaStone ran away from home after knowing that her family hates her for what she did. She moves to New Jersey by herself at the age of 16. After two years, she finds out who she really is, with the help of Derek Walsh and his group.
