The year is 8 billion and the Sun is dying. The richest of humanity has made its way to the distant Life planet Cerulone, leaving behind billions to die. Fast-evolving alien flora invades local ecosystems, converting acres and acres of land to thorny waste. Cultivation is impossible, and life on Earth is nearly extinct. The last humans on the face of the planet are plagued by a fatal disease, starvation and unquenchable thirst. In the midst of this survives Kun, a part of a band of youths. Food, water, and land, all luxuries we've taken for granted, have been slowly looming down on us as a possible issue of the future. But that was just it. An issue of the future. So we ran and ran until we were backed right into a corner. The future has now become the present, and we can no longer run. So how does humanity respond, when it's very existence is threatened? Does it respond with words? With ideas and theories? But what if that doesn't work? Does it respond by blade? How will humanity take on its biggest enemy yet... itself.

A group, along with their animal counterparts, escape a top secret facility where they were trained to perfect their genetically modified anamorphic abilities. They eventually learn they were created to be Earth's greatest defense against a threat from the past. Will the group answer their calling? Will they be enough? Or is the domination of Earth inevitable?
