He discovered that she was running away from some people who was trying to kill her because of a secret that she has. Oscar had discovered Ruby's secret and that those people from before is not the ones they should be running from.

One day, Ozpin sent him off on a mission to collect something that he wasn't told of. When he does, it was all a trap by an unknown group. As he's kidnapped, he finds something very old and he becomes someone else completely; an Assassin. He'll soon understand the world more and the words that he always heard but never understood will finally make sense: "Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted. We work in the dark to serve the light. We are assassins." Key factors about this story: 1. Each sequence is the main story. 2. Lost sequences are stuff that either happened before or things that I forgot to add at some point, so they're cannon and probably are important to the story.
