Finding out her boyfriend was the head of a mafia was a shock so when she gets told that her dad lead another mafia she is more shocked and doesn't know if she should follow down her fathers footsteps and lead the El Mante or follow her heart and stay loyal to Tom.

And lastly, everything in this book that has to do with organized crime is a work of fiction. None of the characters, events, or descriptions are real. Also, do not romanticize the mafia. It isn't anything like we see written in books.
