Ciarra Devigne is a 21 year-old girl who has just graduated from University, startled awake on a train she finds herself in the company of some rough, gangsterous people. She doesn't know why she is on the train or how she got there. The girl begins to stare out of the window at a changing landscape that goes from pleasant to fiery as do the events going on in her life. Why has there been no contact? Are the visions sent from the ancient humans who left planet Earth? Zee quickly learns that her newfound independence is not without its challenges.
