Hanahaki disease is an illness Bourne unrequited love.
Flowers bloom in the lungs , feeding off the tissue, using your nutrients as it's own.
If their feelings are not returned, the flowers will continue to grow until they suffocate you.
The only other cure is physical removal. However, memories of that person are also lost.
Many choose not to forget.
