I have had many influences as a writer. A story like this isn't out of my usual but it is my first time writting one on here.

This story is about a group of soldiers who comes home from hell. It is roughly 2050. After bringing down the Russians the USA decides to try and make a simulation for soldiers using Minecraft as a base. Little did they know what would happen. At least there's band in there with them, as well as the whole squad. And they have no clue what the hell is going on. I will say this. They all have exo suits, so this is going to be futuristic af.(not a good desc. But I'll change it eventually)All Rights Reserved

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

Desolate (under reconstruction) by AurtisticDragon

The town of Hibbing, MN is under siege. But by an unlikely enemy. Genetically mutated humans, brought into the world by a mishap in the M.W.A.S (Mid West Association of Science), the science station within Hibbing's walls. An attempt to make a genetically modified human for military purposes, which would make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie. After killing all the scientists, it escapes into the city, throwing the large town in to full-blown apocalypse. It's up to 13 year old Hunter and his friends to save the town of Hibbing, and maybe bring things to the way they were. THIS STORY IS 3 YEARS OLD, AND IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION! IM SORRY FOR ALL THE GRAMMATICAL AND SPELLING ERRORS 😂

The Hawaiian Special Forces by WingedPanther73

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?

The year is 2098 and the world has been inhabitable 3 times in the past century due to not-so-natural disasters, but the human race bounced back every time. After surviving in an underwater bunker for 15 years, 5 young adults are sent out to scope out the land to start over. Again. Three soldiers-one of them being the daughter of the Chief of North America-and two scientists began their journey feeling more or less hopeful about the road ahead. But less than 48 hours after stepping onto the surface, they realize it's not as safe as they thought and there are enemies-dead and alive-lurking in every corner. - AN: Obviously it's still a work in progress, but I'm hoping to get some comments and feedback about what I have so far so maybe I can one day publish when it's done. I also have plot lines for two other books that take place years after this one ends so it's a possible trilogy! I edited some things along the way but never really reviewed it as a whole so there may be some inconsistencies so let me know if you see any or any plot holes. I'm also open to suggestions. After losing his father to a sudden terrorist attack caused by the Terrans, Alex joins the Exos Corps, the worlds largest private military company, and the only ones powerful enough to stop the Terrans. With the help of his friends, and a vast artillery of weapons, Alex vows to protect not only Earth, but every human colony. *This is my FIRST story so there may be some spelling errors or mistakes.*
