Voldemort knows about the half-bloods and needs them in his final plan to live forever. After the death eaters attack Bill and Fleur's wedding, the demigods are split up, leaving it to Percy and Annabeth to assist the golden trio in destroying all the horcruxes.
Back at Hogwarts, Jason, Piper, Nico and Will must figure out which objects Voldemort put pieces of his soul into while being studied day in and day out by the Carrow siblings. Their quest was to protect one person, but now it feels like they must protect the entire school.
