For years, Dungeons and Dragons kept them together. It strengthened their friendship and provided them with an escape for when life just never seemed to go right. 

But on this night, they find themselves at a mysterious table with an enigmatic Dungeon Master. As they begin to play, the room spins and darkens, and in the blink of an eye, the group is transported into the game...as their characters. 

The rules are simple: 

They are free to come and go from the game as they wish. 

What happens in the game reflects in real life. 

But the most important rule of all: once the campaign starts, it must be finished.

The New World. As its name implies, a land filled with the Unknown. To some, a treasure trove of discovery and riches, to others, the thrill of adventure and the chance of glory, but to all, a mystery filled with endless possibilities. 40 years ago, The Hunters Guild formed a group of the elite in order to investigate this uncharted paradise. That was the birth of The Research Commission. After a perilous journey through the sea, the First Fleet of the Commission crashed on the new world. Unable to move their destroyed vessel, the First Fleet decided to make the crashing site where their new base will be, and after years of adapting and building, they created Astera. 30 years ago, the Second Fleet departed, consisting mostly of Engineers and technicians, whose mighty hammers and incandescent forges created tools and weapons that were sorely needed. 20 years ago, a group of researchers, the Third Fleet, arrived in the New World. However, they stayed in their own base, floating in the air. Whether it was scientific curiosity or the call of something from the beyond, "The Thirds" decided to research the Valley of death. 10 years ago, the resourceful and organized Fourth Fleet arrived, creating systems and stability making sure everything ran as precisely as it should. Lastly, stepping on the trails of the Scorching Mountain Dragon, the largest fleet set sail towards The New World. Filled with the best hunters the guild could find, and thanks to the solid base built-in Astera over years of hardships, will The Fifth Fleet become the final key to unlock the mysteries of the new world? This is a tale of a group of passionate members of the Fifth fleet, who, guided by the radiance of the Sapphire Star, will challenge the unknown and brave the brute forces of nature itself.
