Poland is a country with an unpleasant history and many conflicts.
Now with the fall of communism, he has managed to pull through the difficult times and move on from the trauma of the WWII.
Currently all of his cities were fully rebuilt and he himself had long ago recovered from the physical damage that was inflicted upon him.
Making new steps to what he hopes will be 'the better future', he joins NATO and starts working at another organisation called the 'EU'.

There's just one, small problem -

His boss is the very same guy who tried to kill him.

General description:
This is a slow burn romantic "comedy"...
Or at least I'm attempting to turn it into a comedy but unfortunately I've been gifted with a German (also known as nonexistent) sense of humour.

If you're looking for a less stereotypical and slightly more realistic take on gerpol/polger, then this is probably the right book for you!

Poland thought about this, breaking into a grin. "I'm glad we are friends." I smiled back. "Me too." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - When jealousy strikes, there is no predicting its consequences. What lengths would you go to just to save a friend? A lover, perhaps? Friends from an early age, and soon blossoming lovers, follow these countries as they find out what they truly mean to each other.
