There were very few things Chara remembers from before she was adopted. She assumes the memories she does have are fake. There's no way they could be real. Her dreams filled with a woman with long curly black hair, just like hers, blue, grey, no, silver eyes; almost like hers. Others look like her, a man with the same coloring, shorter hair, and another with longer hair. There's one more; he appears the least he's the most fleeting presence, blond hair, and blue eyes. She has the most vivid possible memory of the man with medium length curly black hair and silver eyes. It isn't saying much considering he lack of recognitions he has from these dreams. She always sees him being dragged away by men in weird clothing and things that look like twigs, from her, shouting he name, and reaching for her. Then she would wake up in a cold sweat, and the once vibrant faces would fade into indistinguishable features.
None of these things ever made sense. Until one afternoon, a strange woman showed up at her door talking about some weird boarding school in Scotland and how her parents and family went there. It couldn't have come at a better time really, the dreams were becoming unbearable, and she had just been expelled.
Here's to hoping questions are answered. Will she find clarity or dead ends that leave her even more confused by the end of the term? For Chara's sake, I hope the former.
