Magic is used in Nuesalle, but only under certain circumstances. Ren Tododari, a member of a lower Divine Order branch meets someone who changes everything. Years ago the King sentenced every demon blood - human hybrid to die. One day Ren was given orders to find one still said to be alive. The more time Ren spends with this man, the more he realizes he"ll do anything to keep him from the King. Even if it means he's the one sentenced to die.
