After an EMP attack by a rogue nation plunges the west coast into darkness, high school math teacher Jack Goodson has two objectives: First, he must get his students home safely from their hundred-mile field trip. Second, he must travel another thirty-five miles to reunite with his own family. In order to do this, Jack and his students must navigate increasingly treacherous terrain filled with desperate people, street gangs and those wanting to take advantage of the chaos.

Back home, Jack's wife, Eve, is forced to gather her loved ones and resources and jump into action. With limited knowledge of what her husband has stashed away and a neighborhood filled with reluctant neighbors, their survival is certainly in question.

Can the terrified math teacher reunite his students with their families and reconnect with his wife and kids in a new and dangerous world?

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Warning: Contains sex, some violence, occasional foul language, and adult issues. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. The first ten chapters will be updated to what you get in the published novel and will remain here, so you can try before you buy.

Jack had almost hurt, or even killed, his friends by accidentally tripping over a curb and creating a massive blizzard. The Guardians were furious since the children's lives were momentarily put in serious danger by one of their own. After a heated argument between Jack and the others, he ran off. He was sick and tired of them not listening to him, always accusing him of something he didn't do, or in this case, unintentionally did. He went to his home again, but in the woods and out of sight. He ran into a witch, who he didnt even know lived there. She begged for some assistance in finding some herbs. Jack, however, declined the offer. She persisted, and that annoyed Jack. He had already been going through enough and this old witch wasn't helping. He then yelled at her to leave him be and to find her own "stupid plants". The witch wasn't happy, in fact, his blind rudeness angered her. So, she cursed him to mortality for 3 months. If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Not only is he fighting against time, but the Boogyman decides to make Jack a target. Will he learn his lesson? Or will he die in 3 months time? If he is to survive, what will happen next? What will happen to Pitch? **This book is not all light hearted, there are serious topics included in it.**

Parasite Zero

In a world where survival is the only currency, emotions are a weakness. Soren, a reserved yet calculating college student, has never fit in. His cold, strategic mind sees the world differently, recognizing the parasitic nature of society-people using others, pretending to care, only to discard them when they're no longer useful. When an outbreak erupts at the University of the West Indies, chaos consumes Trinidad's capital. The dead aren't just mindless monsters-they seek heat, tracking survivors like predators, while a parasitic infection twists some into something even worse. While others panic, Soren analyzes. He quickly understands the rules of survival, staying ahead while others are torn apart. Yet, despite his desire to stay alone, people gravitate toward him, sensing his intelligence, his ability to survive. He doesn't save them out of kindness-only if they are useful. As the streets of Port of Spain drown in blood, Soren will uncover the truth behind the infection. But in a world where humanity is as dangerous as the undead, he must ask himself: Is he the true survivor... or just another parasite?
