Adam Burke is suffocating in silence. After suffering the loss of his only parent, he must learn to how to live without his father. He believed the only family he had known would rally around him, bring him into their homes. He was wrong. An Aunt he never knew existed came forward as his saviour. Having been ostracised from the family for unknown reasons, he had never known her. He moves in with a stranger, and his life is turned completely upside-down. The home is chaotic, noisy, and so filled with love. At school, Adam is always smiling, he's always helpful, and always kind. He is a straight A student, and an excellent rugby player. Yet, no one really knows him. He is never seen with friends outside of school, nor does he attend social events. It is as though he doesn't exist outside of these walls. His Aunt who regularly fosters children has her hands full with caring for children. One such boy is Chris, a smart and caring seventeen year-old in the same year as Adam at school. The boys are forced together in an unlikely of circumstances and Chris is pulled into the mysterious world of Adam Burke. Would he be able to discover the truths of the beautiful boy loved by so many? Or will Adam's silence push him away?

Trust?

Easton King has had a hard life. His parents abandoned him as a toddler and he's been from home to home for as long as he can remember. Nobody seems to want him, they just keep him for a little and eventually they all throw him away to be somebody else's problem. Because of this, he has never been close to anyone. He's learned from a young age that he can't trust anybody to stick with him. Don't get me wrong, he still has friends. In fact, Easton is one of the most popular boys in school. No one knows about his home life because he never talks about it and never hangs out with people outside of school. Derek Danvers (his friends jokingly call him DeeDee) has had a better life. He lives with his family and they are loving and decently forgiving like most parents are. He has suffered from depression and anxiety but not nearly as severely as Easton. He lives his life one day at a time and he doesn't depend on his friends but he trusts that they'll stay by his side, and if they don't then it's for the best. They didn't deserve him. Everyone in the school knows Easton puts up walls. No one gets within two or three feet of him, no one asks about his home life, and no one asks if they can go to his house or if he can go to theirs. He has rules everyone knows. What happens when someone finally tries to push the rules? To build up the trust one once lost? Read to find out **Edited
