When Hurricane Katrina took down her family's home and she had to move to a whole new state, she handled it like a pro even at five years old. When her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was ten, she didn't sweat it. She just prayed, hoped for the best, and let God do his work. When she was fifteen and her grandmother died of a heart attack, she was the one who kept her family grounded through their grief.
